Description
Jake is a small lake of only 28 acres,
most of it less than 15' deep, with a maximum depth of only 26'. Campsites
Jake is a small, pass through lake, with
no established campsites. Planning Considerations
Wildlife
Jake supports populations of Brook Trout
(Salvelinus fontinalis),
Brown Trout (Salmo trutta),
Northern Pike (Esox lucius),
White Sucker (Catostomus
commersoni), and Yellow Perch (Perca
flavescens). Trout have been stocked though survival is poor;
probably made for some well fed Northerns for a time.
Notes and Comments
Jake is also known as Jackal Lake.
