Description

Town is a modest sized lake in the Long Island River drainage.

Campsites

Town supports a single campsite nestled among the Jack Pines (Pinus banksiana) along its southern shore. It appears to be but lightly used.

Planning Considerations

Wildlife

Town supports populations of Burbot (Lota lota), Lake Trout (Salvelinus namaycush), and White Sucker (Catostomus commersoni). Camped on Town Lake early one summer morning, we watched a large bull moose swim along the shore opposite our campsite.
